Explanation of Services

1.) All bills are due and payable on/or before the 20th day of the month. If the 20th falls on a Saturday or Sunday then your bill will be due the following Monday. After the 20th of the month, we will impose a 10% late charge. Any bill which remains unpaid after the 20th day of the month will be subject to receive a 10-day cut-off notice. In the event that we terminate your services because of non-payment you will be charged a $25.00 reconnect fee before services will be restored. If a customer's services are terminated because of a delinquent account and you have received a refund on your deposit then you will be charged not only $25.00 reconnect fee but you will also have to pay another deposit.
2.) For water only you are allowed 3000 gallons of water per month for a minimum bill of $30.15. For water and sewer, you are allowed 3000 gallons of water for $30.15 2000 gallons of sewer for $32.92 making your minimum bill a total of $63.07.
3.) If you are an OWNER your security deposit will stay on file until you have paid ON TIME 12 CONSECUTIVE bills, your money will be refunded on the 13th month. In the event you are late paying your bill, then you must once again start the 12 consecutive months.
4.) If you are a RENTER and have water/sewer services, your security deposit will not be refunded until you leave our service area or become a home owner.
5.) All bills may be paid at our office, mailed in, over the phone, online at https://rspsd.com/ or we offer direct debit from your checking or savings account. Our mailing address and telephone number is listed on the top of your water bill. We also have a drop box located to the right of the front door in the wall of the office.
6.) In the event that you move from our service area and want your services terminated, you must call or come to the office.
7.) Meter tampering is a FEDERAL OFFENSE and in violation of all rules and regulations of Homeland Security. If you have any problems, call the office. We will prosecute any and all offenders. US CODE TITLE 42, SECTION 3001-1.

  • Only run your dishwasher and washing machine when you have full loads

Leaks not only waste water, they can be costly too. Ongoing leaks can harm your home and the environment. We encourage customers to actively check for leaks to avoid wasting water, time and money.

A high usage pattern could be indicative of a leak. Oftentimes, constant water usage can be minor, Easily-corrected issue. Items such as dripping faucets, toilets not sealing fully, or outside irrigation systems that aren’t functioning properly would cause continuous usage.

The increased water consumption can be harmful to both the environment and your home.
